Hi-Desert Artists
AHA Projects is proud to partner with the Hi-Desert Artists whose mission is to serve the community of the professional and emerging artists, to develop a strong Visual and Performing arts community, through the display and sales of works of art, artists talks, classes, demonstrations, events and hands on experiences with the operation of a non-profit art gallery and learning facility.
To ensure everyone can access and enjoy the center, we need to do some household improvements. Specifically we need to install an ADA-compliant ramp, level the patio and purchase additional classroom equipment. At Hi-Desert Artists we believe that art should be for everyone. We are excited to announce that all donations for this project will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of your generosity!
Our immediate goal is to raise $5,000, which will be matched to reach the ultimate goal of $10,000. This funding will make the art center a welcoming and inclusive space for all members of our community, including those with mobility challenges.
Join us in building accessibility, creativity, and opportunity. Every dollar you contribute brings us closer to a more inclusive and vibrant community. Donate today and help make the High Desert Artists’ vision a reality!
Together, we can elevate art and accessibility.
We are so proud of our community and supporters. We did a first round funding that was a huge success. We are now working on round 2. Please help us meet our goal and do another match!
This project will be an important asset to the Yucca Valley and Morongo Basin community as a resource for Visual and Performing arts. As a not for profit, open membership organization with regular meetings to encourage open dialogue and participation in the operation of the gallery and outreach programs it is our hope the community will gain experience and knowledge in both business and arts organizational management. HDA policies are inclusive of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, social economic status, citizenship and religious beliefs.
