Our Impact
AHA Projects is redefining the nonprofit landscape by offering existing and emerging nonprofits, as well as donors, a clear path to making a community impact. Through the acquisition of properties and buildings, we provide the space and resources needed to support your community.
Current Programs
We believe that Permanent Space for nonprofits or artist practitioners alleviates those entities of burdensome overhead expenses. Land and Building Ownership gives AHA Projects the freedom to explore dynamic partnerships that can impact our community. AHA is exploring land trust models that can support the communities services, alleviate them from displacement, and allow them to make a larger impact.
Current Projects
Nonprofits are often spread thin by trying to do too much with too little. AHA’s current projects are where we support each of our nonprofits specific objectives, scopes, timelines, and allocated resources. We help them focus on putting energy into their mission instead of the headache of running the day to day.
Fiscal Sponsorship

Fiscal Sponsorship
Fiscal sponsorship refers to the practice of non-profit organizations offering their legal and tax-exempt status to groups (typically projects, but can be LLC’s, nonprofits or collectives) engaged in activities related to the sponsoring organization’s mission. It typically involves a fee-based contractual arrangement between a project and an established non-profit. Projects may seek fiscal sponsorship for various reasons: an anticipated short lifespan, improved access to funding, increased credibility, and low-cost financial and administrative services. Fiscal sponsors can also assist nascent projects in developing the necessary organizational capabilities to eventually spin off as independent non-profits.
Model A
The project becomes a part of the Sponsoring Organization with the Project Partner (individual) becomes an employee, volunteer, or independent contract of the Organization.
Model B
The project becomes a part of the Sponsoring Organization with the Project Partner (entity) with the individuals becoming employees, volunteers, or independent contractors of the Organization.
Model C
Direct Grant Relationship allows for the Sponsoring Organization to support the project indirectly as a pass through option. This is typically a short term project.
