Our mission is to fight truth decay by bringing a wide variety of resources that will help
the community tell fact from fiction and be more savvy consumers of all kinds of news.

The News Literate Community Initiative brings together a wide variety of community
organizations and private individuals who bring tips, tools, and techniques to help the
community be able to tell fact from fiction in all kinds of news. We are fighting truth decay!

We will create a community that moves forward with well-informed citizens, pursuing common purposes using a shared set of facts.
