The Reno Center
AHA Projects is creating our first dynamic hub space in Washoe County. This 16,000 square foot space is located on Moana Lane in the heart of Northern Nevada.

The building will house a variety of nonprofit organizations with community-minded missions, offering arts, recreational activities, and services that cater to the evolving needs of the area.
The building will be a shared space hub providing organizations with access to office space, hot-desks, conference and event space.
Member Organizations accessing the Space will be a part of a collaborative space allowing nonprofits to resource share in a variety of ways.

Shared Space
Establishing a shared and flexible space for nonprofits creates an environment designed for both efficiency and growth. When nonprofits share facilities, they gain access to a variety of resources and expertise that may not be available individually. This collaborative setting fosters spontaneous partnerships and opportunities for cross-organizational support, leading to innovative approaches and solutions that may not have emerged in isolation.
Resource Pooling
When nonprofits share resources, they significantly reduce operational costs, allowing them to allocate more of their budget toward their core missions. Instead of each organization shouldering the full burden of rent, utilities, and office equipment, these costs are distributed across multiple nonprofits, which leads to more efficient use of funds. Shared spaces often come with access to amenities such as meeting rooms, technology, and office supplies, further reducing the need for each organization to invest in duplicate infrastructure.
Collaborative Programming
A flexible space means that it can adapt to the changing needs of different organizations. Whether it’s a growing nonprofit that requires additional office space or a community group hosting a workshop, the environment can be reconfigured to meet diverse demands. This adaptability also supports nonprofits during times of growth or transition, ensuring that they always have a supportive and responsive space in which to operate.
Regular Interactions and Networking
In this adaptable setting, nonprofits are also able to forge partnerships that extend beyond the walls of the shared space. Whether it’s co-hosting events, developing joint programs, or simply offering mentorship to one another, the collaborative environment amplifies the impact each organization can have on its community.
Unified Fundraising Efforts
The collaboration that naturally occurs in a shared space builds stronger networks and deeper connections between nonprofits, creating a more united and resilient nonprofit community. Donors supporting such spaces are not just funding a building; they are investing in a dynamic ecosystem where innovation and social impact are nurtured and amplified. This collective impact is far greater than what any one organization could achieve on its own.
